New Delhi: The South Asian Network of the German government’s Goethe-Institut Sunday announced a fully funded fellowship to further boost cultural relations with India and create cultural leaders.

Washington: The US government has reported that a 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Japan.
The earthquake occurred at 0201 IST Saturday and was centred 81 km east of Japan’s southern island of Okinawa, the US Geological Survey reported.

Frankfurt: Pilots went on strike Monday at Lufthansa, knocking out 3,200 flights according to the company’s skeleton timetable.
